I can continue.
Whenever something I promised/planned didn't happen, then, I seriously consider adding a new patch, expressed as "when X happens then think/do Y", in order to improve my functioning [TODO: Find a better word than "functioning"] from now on.
Verify this was a good patch: Brain, do you expect that from now on the new behavior will take effect, and, that this kind of problem (and similar ones) will not happen again? If so, my brain will also relieve any stress I have about this.
With time, my brain trusts me to engage in this solution for anything, and it will not create stress around almost any problem.
Examples are definitely needed but we have other posts for that.
